A student who has no prior postsecondary experience attending CSUF for the first time at the undergraduate level. An undergraduate student taking 12 or more units is considered full-time for enrollment reporting purposes.

The first step in applying for financial aid is filling out a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online. Schedule a one-on-one virtual appointment for a discussion with a coordinator for up to 30 minutes. Email a coordinator with your PGCC student email if you have a simple question that will take 10 minutes or less.
Does financial aid cover all the tuition fees?
While it is possible for student financial aid to cover full tuition, in practice it will fall short. For most students, there will not be enough financial aid to cover the full cost of tuition, unless the parents borrow a Federal Parent PLUS loan. The financial aid will be based on financial need, which is usually less than the cost of attendance.
