Are Gnu Snowboards good?
This board has great stability and can float in pow. While I was riding it, I was able to quickly get from edge to edge so I know I feel comfortable taking it out in the sidecountry. Durability: I only got to test ride it for a few runs but GNU makes some great boards.

Gnu riders choice, because magnetraction, reverse camber (hybrid really), & asymmetrical sidecut. Holds an edge better than any of the many boards I’ve owned, has great pop, floats in pow, and tracks on hard pack. Also, it’s surprisingly very durable without being heavy or lifeless.

If you don’t wax your snowboard you will not be able to ride as fast and your board will not be protected and at a higher risk for rust and abrasion or damage. If you have just gotten a new snowboard, there is already a factory wax on there.

The factory wax is usually pretty minimal. Won’t hurt to ride it fresh from the wrapper, it’ll likely just need waxed right after! Or,.. you can wax it first if you feel like it!
